About
Captain Chris Keller
Born and raised in California’s North Bay, Chris grew up with a love for sports and the outdoors. He competed in soccer, swimming, and water polo, while weekends were usually spent mountain biking, skateboarding, or on the water. Some of his favorite early memories came from fishing at Lake Shasta with his family and close friends.
Nearly 20 years ago, Chris made the move to Lake of the Ozarks, where boating and fishing quickly became a big part of his life. After years of experience on the lake, he earned his USCG Captain’s License and had a successful 2026 season, completing more than 50 charters and 400+ hours on the water.
Chris has captained a variety of boats, including tritoons, ski boats, cruisers, and larger twin-screw vessels. His experience includes a 42-foot Fountain, 33- to 40-foot cruisers, and 25- to 27-foot tritoons and ski boats.
For Chris, captaining is about more than operating the boat. He enjoys meeting new people, getting to know his crew, and providing a great day on the lake. After a busy 2026 season, he’s looking forward to getting back on the water for 2027 and seeing past and new clients.
